General information Our homepage is divided into two sections: one for the general public and one just for members and registered interested parties, who can access it using a password (intranet). In the member’s section there is a calendar listing of all NETWORK events, a member database, a discussion forum for internal NETWORK issues, reports and photos from events, a NETWORK News archive, reports, the statutes, a listing of the commissions and their members. The commissions and the regional leadership are responsible for the intranet. The publicly accessible section of the homepage provides information about our organization for the general public about our aims and our self-image. Also to be found here are general contributions on topics concerning homosexuality and the attaining of legal equality for gays and lesbians in Switzerland and throughout the world. NETWORK members are welcomed and encouraged to contribute articles. The goal is to make our homepage a competent information platform on the topic of homosexuality. Contributions from non-members are also welcomed. No claim shall exist for the publication of contributions submitted. The final decision about publication lies with the editor in chief. No financial compensation shall be provided for contributions submitted, nor does any legal claim exist.
Guaranteeing the privacy of members
Members are not named in the public section of the homepage, unless they are public figures whose homosexuality is already generally known. The editor in chief decides about such publication of names based on his state of knowledge on the date of publication. Members who have given their permission may also be named. Such permission may be obtained either per e-mail or verbally. The members do not have any claims to absolute privacy and no claims can be made in regard to any accidental infraction thereof, or in regard to a appearance about the status of the public disclosure. Names shall be removed from the website immediately upon request. At our events we invite often guests. To name or to picture them on our website has no evidence in any mater to make a conclusion on their sexual orientation.
